The Alterra is the highest ranked cycling full face ever tested by the stringent Virgina Tech Star ranking, the only helmet certification that publicly discloses the energy absorption and dissipation values.

Drawing from years designing helmets and dissecting crashed helmets I sought out to design a helmet where form truly followed function. Every vent was carefully placed with maximizing airflow, and carefully deliberate surfacing treatment was used to optimize for safety.

I am proud to be able to say I helped design the world’s safest cycling full face and take it from concept sketch, into CAD, and see it hit the market to rave reviews from media and athletes alike.
